Terms of Service for Quick holds

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Quick holds ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

Quick holds is a Google Workspace Gmail add-on that helps users:

• Generate and manage calendar hold slots.
• Check calendar availability.
• Format scheduling options for insertion into Gmail drafts.

2. Eligibility and account

You must have a valid Google account and authority to use connected calendars and email data.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.

3. Permissions and user responsibility

You authorize the App to access Google data only to provide requested functionality.

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing generated holds before sending or relying on them.
• Ensuring invitees, descriptions, and scheduling details are accurate.
• Complying with your organization's policies and applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the App.
• Use the App in a way that violates Google terms or third-party rights.

5. Availability and changes

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

6. Fees

Current pricing: Free. We may introduce paid features in the future. If pricing changes, we will update the listing and applicable terms before charging users.

7. Intellectual property

The App and related content are owned by the developer except where third-party rights apply. Google, Gmail, and Calendar are trademarks of Google LLC.

8. Disclaimers

We do not guarantee error-free operation, continuous availability, or that generated scheduling outputs are always complete or conflict-free. You should validate critical scheduling actions before relying on them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, business, or profits arising from use of the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and revoking permissions. We may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect the App, users, or compliance obligations.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of REPLACE_WITH_JURISDICTION, without regard to conflict of law rules.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" when changes are made.
