Privacy Policy for Quick holds

Quick holds ("the App") is a Google Workspace Gmail add-on that helps users create and format scheduling hold options from Google Calendar.

2. Information we access

The App accesses Google account data only with your authorization through Google OAuth scopes.

Depending on features used, the App may access:

• Calendar events and availability information (including event titles, times, attendees, and descriptions) in calendars you can access.
• Gmail add-on compose context needed to insert generated time-slot text into your draft.
• Script locale/timezone settings.

3. How we use information

We use accessed data only to provide core App functionality, including:

• Finding available slots in selected date windows.
• Creating hold events in your calendar.
• Checking conflicts across calendars you have permission to view.
• Formatting and inserting time-slot options into Gmail drafts.
• Providing attendee suggestions based on your calendar history.

4. Data storage and retention

The App uses Google Apps Script built-in storage minimally for operational state (for example, temporary per-user form/session state).

The App does not intentionally store your calendar or email content outside Google Apps Script services required for runtime operation.

Temporary operational data is retained only as long as needed for the feature flow and may expire automatically.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your Google data with third parties for advertising.

We only use Google APIs and related Google services necessary to operate the App.

6. Security

We rely on Google OAuth and Google Workspace security controls for authorization and transport protection. You can revoke the App's access at any time from your Google account permissions.

7. Your choices

• Stop using the App at any time.
• Revoke OAuth permissions in your Google account security settings.
• Contact us to request deletion of any developer-managed data, if applicable.

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. International users

If you use the App outside your home jurisdiction, your data may be processed in locations where Google services operate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" when changes are made.
